After I had held the appointment of Chief
Justice of British Honduras for some years Lord Knutsford
was good enough in a despatch (copy of extract from which
I annex) to refer to my services to that Colony, anu I trust
that I have, during my tenure of office in HongKong, given
satisfaction to Your Excellency in the performance of my
duties.
