With reference to previous respondence, I have the houser to re- commend to the most favourable con. sideration of His Excellency the Governor the promotions and redistibution of salaries set forth in the accompanying
schedule.
With the exception of Messrs. Peel and Collaço, all the officers named have been under my charge for
a considerable period, during which I have had ample opportunities of observing their conduct and abilihis and I have no hesitation whatever.
