I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter No. 2341 of the 5th December, 1894, and to thank you for the copy of the Postmaster General's letter of the 22nd November last enclosed therein.
I have no desire to present myself before the Executive Council. I feel confident that they will deal fully with my case in my absence as fairly as if I were present.
I have only to request that this letter may be laid before them, with the other papers.
