the said ship of wilful and confirmed disobedience to lawful command, and of convocation to disobey,

That h heard and carefully having considered the evidence given before this Court in the presence of the accused the Court finds the prisoners Lubata Lautare, Sitaro Gotaro, Sira dushichi, Mori Kubakro, Avavava Jenyakichi, Kumamoto, Ypanda, and Janobi Markichi

guilty of assault upon the Master of the British Steamship "Naushave" N. 87190 of London, of wilful and continued disobedience of lawful command and of combination to disobey.

The said Court finds Ogawa and Otsubo seamen of the said ship guilty of wilful and continued disobedience to lawful command and of combination to disobey.

The Court therefore orders that in accordance with the powers contained in section 243 of 17 and 18 Vic: c. 104 the accused Kubata Kantaro, Sitaro Gotaro, Sira Inokichi, Mori Kubakro, Kumamoto, Shirasawa Fonyakichi and Janobi Markichi, be imprisoned and kept to hard labour for the period of ten weeks from this date and in one of Her Majesty's gaols at HongKong, that they forfeit all pay that may be due or may become due to them to the date of their discharge from prison

and that they be discharged from the ship's books at the expiration of their sentence of imprisonment. The pay forfeited to be retained by way of compensation to the owners of the steamship "Nanshan" to meet expenses which have been properly incurred in authorities.

And the said Court in accordance with the powers contained in section 245 of 17 and 18 Vic: c. 104 orders that the accused Tasuda be imprisoned and kept to hard labour for the period of twelve weeks from this date
