Gent ... 3 Reb 55 as requested by the Governor, I am directed to acquaint you that the Governor has determined upon presenting to Dr Lepage & Mathieu two gold watchstands in testimony of their intrepidity etc. (as above) and to desire that you procure them and have them forwarded through the French Government bearing the above inscription.
