As to Mr. Ackroyd's point, it was intended to pay vacation leave salary half pay leave at 3/-
Loo's two queries, it was intended to pay all future leave, including that earned prior to 27 Jan. 1894 at 3/-; and in that case Officers should be made to refund the difference between leave pay at 3/- & 4/- if they are to get the compensation allowance as from 1 Jan. 1895.
