Le discovers the fact. If one monthly wire Accounts are promptly handled and audited, this would not occur. Not only would the mistake be discovered at once, but the Treasurer would have his own marks for information as to the position of the colony, and would not have to refer to memoranda from old accounts which had remained unsettled.
