I have the honour to request that, as the inquiry of the Retrenchment Commission has now been completed, you may be pleased to recommend for the favourable consideration of His Excellency the Governor the confirmation of my appointment as Assistant Government Marine Surveyor, which was deferred pending the decision of the above-mentioned Commission.
