The Revenue is therefore capable of bearing the extra charge which will be involved if Your Lordship
should be prepared to extend to the Civil Servants of Hongkong from the 1st January, 1894, the same treatment in regard to half pay leave and salary which has recently been extended to the public service of the Straits Settlements.
