storage capacity of the reservoir and this will be quite sufficient for the wants of the immediate future. I am of opinion that this should be the first step taken towards increasing the storage and I believe that this too is Mr. Cooper's opinion.
There is an advantage in doing this work during the dry season, as during the wet season there is an overflow at the bywash which would hinder the work and increase the cost. The work too could not be completed in time to impound the water for the next dry season. I propose therefore to prepare plans and estimates in readiness for commencing the work at the beginning of the next dry season and Mr. Cooper could examine these plans on his return in November.
