The idea of inviting tenders for shorter periods than three years was mine, suggested possibly to Sir C. Mitchell & Mr. Maxwell, it brought my views to the fall in silence. The Farm had it been renewed since that fall, would have been prejudiced thereby.
Is there anything to be done? But Possibly, due to Robinson's own invitation to tenders, or default, would be a beach-comber's mine?
