We have heard nothing about this, but apparently the Bank has been in correspondence with the Treasury
I cannot imagine what instructions the Governor expects to get. Of course the notes cannot be accepted until their issue has been sanctioned.
Copy to Treasury with a request to inform us as to what has passed between that Dept. & the Bank on the subject referred to.
