In reply to your letter just received, which shall be properly acknowledged hereafter, I transmit to you copies of two proclamations which have recently been issued.
I understand that the number of cases of plague are decidedly diminishing.
I am much obliged for consenting to call the Viceroy's attention to the objectionable...
