Report by the Starbour Master
The Emigration laws apply to vessels proceeding on a voyage of not more than 7 days' duration.
This voyage was reported to be fixed at 8 days being the nearest number above 7 days.
If it might have been fixed at "more than 7 days," and I am sorry now I did not suggest it.
It is obvious that the proclaimed length of voyage neither lengthens nor shortens the actual time it will take.
