Something has been akin to a panic created amongst the school population of the Colony.

I have caused a proclamation to be issued to the effect that there are absolutely unfounded fears and that if the culprits can be brought to justice they will be severely punished.

I have also refused to sanction the closing of Queen's College School, not only because I do not consider such a course necessary but also because it would likely give countenance to a panic for which there is no justification.
