I am of opinion that the present inspections and tests, with some slight modifications should be retained, and that the tests and the methods to be adopted in applying them should be clearly defined and added to the Regulations.
The test applied to the cable as described in these papers, and from information supplied by the Manager of the Team, does not appear to have been quite satisfactory as they might have been. The strain applied to one end of the cable appears to have been excessive, whilst the strain applied to the other end, only...
