at the office of the
Public Works Department to see Mr. Tooker to ascertain when

cars for testing.
Mr Tooker not
being available
I saw Mr. Chatham who told

before 12 o'clock.
The Overseer would
be at 7
on Monday morning
to see the ballast weighed
at the lower
terminus and
I went immediately
to the Office of the Public Works Department and
saw Mr. Tooker.
I asked him what he meant
by
the letter, as I would not understand it. He said that
the cars on

be ready
as he had prior
engagements, and
