[Telegram] Referring to your letter of 16th instant, I am directed by the Secretary of State for the Colonies to transmit to you, for the information of the Earl of Kimberley, a copy of a telegram from the Governor of Hong Kong relating to the outbreak of bubonic plague.

A similar communication has been made to the Foreign Office, Admiralty, Privy Council Office, Board of Trade, and Local Government Board and the Crown Agents for the Colonies.
