6. Subject to any representation that may be received from, or on behalf of, the opium farmer during the next fortnight, I have the honour to state that I am not aware of any reason why Her Majesty should be advised to disallow the Ordinance.
7. In pursuance of a suggestion made to me by the senior Unofficial Member, and in view of the desirability of having the law settled at as early a date as possible, I venture to request Your Lordship to be good enough to telegraph your decision whether, or no, you have seen fit to advise Her Majesty not to disallow the Ordinance.
