- sentenced to death by Chief Justice at the criminal sessions last month for the crime of murdering his superior officer, Havildar Noor Mahomet, on the 18th of January last, and that after the case had been considered by me in Executive Council, the sentence was duly executed in Victoria Gaol on the 5th instant.
