I am informed by Mr. Bowdler that the whole of the reclamation account will have to be re-cast from commencement, and that he will be able to have this done, with the assistance of an additional clerk, in 2 or 3 months from the receipt of the decision on the points now raised.

The Balance sheet asked for on 16th March 1894 is enclosed. It is of course subject to such alterations as may be necessitated by compliance with the fifth paragraph of the despatch under reference, and with Your Lordship's reply to my present communication.
