In regard to the suggested amendment of the Widows and Orphans Fund Act, suggested in my despatch No. 195 of 7th Dec. last, I have to refer you to my despatch No. 30 of 30th March (which I believe crossed your despatch under acknowledgement), in which I stated that I did not think it necessary at present to proceed with that amendment.
