I have terminated the arrangement with the Sanitary Board Surgeon although in my agreement with the Government at the time of my appointment, it was allowed in the Estimates for the year that my salary should be increased by $600. I had strongly urged this in 1891. I am now respectfully submitting it for consideration.
I have referred the question of vaccine cultivation to the Bacteriological Institute as it is a scientific subject requiring expert opinion. The Inspector of Vaccination has taken note of the information required for the utilisation of the Vaccine Institute.
I feel confident that Your Lordship will favourably consider my request.
