Referring to my Circular of 3rd November last, I am directed to inform you that the Secretary of State has desired that the conditional
offer therein mentioned should again be made to each Officer concerned for his final acceptance or rejection. I am therefore to request you to return the enclosed form to me not later than Friday next with your signature and that of each Officer concerned in your department, entered in column 1 or in column 2 thereof, according as the signatory
elects to accept or to refuse the offer.
I am to add for your information that the words "not domiciled in the Colony," in the Secretary of State's Despatch of 25th September last, are to be construed as meaning Officers domiciled in the United Kingdom or in any other country which has a gold currency.
