Information

Copies of a Table. Six copies, shewing the actual price of Bar Silver per standard ounce and Mexican Dollars per ounce during the year 1894, the metallic value of Mexican Dollars per ounce or dearness compared with their intrinsic worth (the cost of coinage excluded!). This table has been furnished by the Honourable J.H. Whitehead who states that it has been carefully checked with the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank telegrams and that it affords ample evidence of the necessity for the introduction of a British Dollar.

I have the honour to be,

My Lord Marquess,

Your Lordship's Most Obedient Humble Servant,

Wm. Robinson
