Honourable W. M. Goodman, Attorney General requesting that the circumstances which led to the appointment of Mr Fielding Clarke, then Puisne Judge, and of Mr Ackroyd on more than one occasion to act as Chief Justice may be placed on record.

The facts are correctly related by Mr Goodman and I have to request that a note may be made accordingly in the Colonial Office.
