I have been issued under the Hong Kong Ordinance No.1 of 1884, and have not since been repealed.
8. Pending the receipt of the report which I have asked you to send on the question of the British Dollar, I will communicate with the India Office to enquire whether the Indian Mints could undertake to coin such Dollars and if so, on what terms.
