nurses, those "General Duties will require some material modifications. We cannot undertake here to modify them. Will it not therefore be better to omit them altogether from the Agreement & to alter the latter part of 5. 2 of the Agreement so as to read simply:

"her duties shall include the general duties of a Nurse as at the British Hospital.

The paper headed "General Duties" may still be shown to candidates as to the nature of their duties, but it should hardly be included in the Agreement (as it seems to me) because apart from the change introduced by the abolition of the Wardmaster, it includes various matters of course & variable detail, which are from time to time found...

(This point was not noticed when we wrote the letter on 12/65, an idea was that the Agreement would be simply based on the paper of particulars enclosed in that Letter.)
