Advertisement of the Oil from the wharf, and we think this clause should certainly not exceeding "300 Gallons", as read at Wharf.
Yank Carts, holding 150 Gallons, could be safely taken to and from the wharf. Restricting the capacity of the packages to 20 Gallons is, in our opinion, most absurd.
In Conclusion, we would point out to you that while the Calcutta Rules apply equally to Coal Oil and Buck Oil, those of Hong Kong apply only to Bucket Oil. We strongly think this should be amended so that the rules in both cases should apply equally to both.
