I have the honour to inform you that Her Majesty's Government have agreed to the present rate of contribution being continued during the current year, and it is proposed at an early date to take into consideration the question of the amount to be paid in future years.
I have therefore to request you to transmit to me at the earliest possible date a brief abstract of the actual revenue and expenditure for the year 1892, in order that I may have before me, when considering this question, the latest available information as to the financial position of the Colony.
