My Lord,
In accordance with the instructions contained in your Lordship's despatch No.27 Treaty of the 12th ultimo, I communicated to the United States Secretary of State a copy of a letter and inclosure from the Colonial Office, which was contained therein respecting the proposed Money Order Convention between Hong Kong and the United States.
I have now the honour to inclose a copy of a letter addressed to the Secretary of State by the Acting Postmaster General, which I have received from Mr Gresham in reply, together with the amended draft Convention designed to conform to the wishes of the Hong Kong Post Office.
