With reference to your despatch of 4th January, I am directed by the Earl of Rosebery to transmit to you the accompanying copy of a note from the Italian Chargé d'Affaires at this Court, in regard to the destitute lunatic Rosada, who is about to be repatriated from Hongkong.

The Italian Government wish to be informed of the probable date of the lunatic's arrival and whether one person will be sufficient to accompany him to the Asylum.
