Gentlemen,
Southey.V.Barrett.
Mr Southey, Student, has lost his case, and I
have advised him to see you upon the subject so as to learn
what you wish to be done? My own feeling is that although
he was wrong in interfering in a hasty moment,
with the
arm of the law, he has already had a bitter experience, and
I feel sure he will not be likely to offend again. Had he
been a troublesome Pupil I would say nothing in extenuation
of his conduct, but, throughout his term here he has uni-
formly conducted himself in every way to our satisfaction,
and we shall be quite willing to keep him on here as a
Student should you think fit.
(Signed) J.W.Wilson.
Principal.
