The Revenue is therefore fairly steady at about $2,000,000.

On the other hand this Expenditure, which, excluding Works to be paid for out of Loan, only falls short by about $8,000 is almost certain to be exceeded owing to the low rate of Exchange, since whatever may happen the more distant future, the dollar can hardly be expected to rise to 2/6 this year.
