You will remember that White, flirted with Miss Brown when she was then made to resign very unjustly (see 22916/91 & previous papers). It appears from the Blue Books that White was dismissed from the Pox Hospital on 13th March 1892, shortly after receipt in Colony of an adverse report on him (vide 22916/91) but we do not know the grounds of his dismissal, as the salary being under £600 the Governor was not required to report it, and it was most likely...
