3rd B
I emphatically deny this charge.
I have served a term of 17 years in the M. Police Force, and have been acting as Junior Wardmaster at Mt 1665 Asylum since 1888. I am now very much dissatisfied with the manner in which I am treated and do not wish to be any longer connected with it. And I hope the Government will allow me a fair pension for my services.
I hereby give you formal notice that I leave the Government Service on the 30th December 1893.
I have, etc.

Sir,
In reply to your letter of the 20th instant forwarding Mr Myers' answer to the charges formulated against him, I am directed to request you to inform Mr Myers in writing that he has failed to exculpate himself to the Governor's satisfaction, and that the question of his suspension will be brought before the Executive Council in the Council Chamber on Wednesday next, at 11 A.M., and that he is at liberty, if he so desires, to attend then.
