In these circumstances

I venture to solicit your Lordship's approval and confirmation of the order in Council made by me in the case, and I have also to submit my recommendation with the concurrence of the majority of the Executive Council that if Myers conducts himself satisfactorily henceforward, he may be allowed when he retires to count for pension such portion of his previous service in the Police Force as has not already been rewarded by a commuted pension, but not his service in the Lunatic Asylum.
