account of a deferred payment from the Opium received from farmer - by $14,800 on account of the excess in January and February of the monthly payments in respect of old Opium farm over those due under the new farm let for three years from March 1st 1892 - by $65,000 on some account of recovery of arrears of revenue by means of unusual activity in the Treasury - some $60,000 on account of land sales which realized over $121,000, including an exceptional receipt of $67,000 by sale of a portion of the Praya reclamation belonging to the Government. These exceptional items aggregate $219,800, and if due allowance be made for them the apparent surplus of $118,079 mentioned above is converted into a real deficit of $101,791.
