I have the honour to thank Your Lordship for your consideration in causing me to be furnished with Copy of despatch 291 from 15th June last to the High Commissioner of Cyprus on the subject of the registration of title and the valuation of land for purposes of taxation, and to acknowledge with great satisfaction the generous terms in which Your Lordship has been pleased to express your appreciation of the little I was able to do during my stay in Cyprus towards the elucidation of that difficult question.
