copy of a letter from Director of Public Works
recommending
that Mr Prosser
be allowed to draw the full salary of his substantive post, Land Surveyor in addition to the half salary acting appointment as Superintendent of Crown Lands, and in view
of the peculiar circumstances of the case and the fact that the estimated departmental expenditure will not be exceeded thereby, I beg leave to submit the Director of Public Works' recommendation for Your Lordship's favourable consideration.
