Independently of this, by his transfer to the Gaol, he further received an increase of salary amounting to considerably 14% beyond what he drew in the Police Department.
Gov 1598 89-90 concl: 2 I enclose a copy of a letter from him to the Superintendent of the Gaol, putting forward his claims but for the reasons stated, I consider them inadmissible.
