what sums are due to her from the
prostitutes, that a man

the night of the 25th and 28th March and of the 11th, 12th and 16th April with Ip So. He is said to have been the visitor referred to in the evidence given at the inquest, but the book, – which is written up each morning - does not show that.
It was shown by

of the other brothels in the same street that this man owed Ip So and that he had promised
money

intended to frighten him into paying her
a small dose of opium,
by taking
and that she took the overdose by
mistake.
No other reason for her act has been suggested.
