copy of a letter from the Superintendent of the Civil Hospital, which has been forwarded by the Colonial Surgeon recommending
that Mr J. Stevenson, Senior Wardmaster be placed on the permanent staff of the Civil Hospital from the date of the termination of his agreement.

If Your Lordship is pleased to approve the recommendation, Mr Stevenson will be required to subscribe to the Widows and Orphans' Pension Fund, and be informed that the rates at which his salary and pension will be payable when on leave, will be 14 and 5/8d to the dollar, respectively.
