Government Scholar for the years 1893-97, and to transmit for Your Lordship's information the enclosed copy of the report of the Examiners with a list of the results of the examination,
2. Mr Yvanovich has applied to be allowed to study at Footing College, but as nothing is known in this Colony about that institution it has been arranged that he should make application to this point to Your Lordship on his arrival in England.
One of the regulations regarding the Government Scholarships provides that the holder of a scholarship can select the course he wishes to follow, or the Institution where he is to study, subject to the approval of the Governor and the Secretary of State for Colonies.
3. Mr. Yvanovich leaves Hongkong by the steamship "Malwa" on the 13th April next.
