Dew Catholer Ollage in Hough. Principele Saretary of State for the Extensch Eirected by the Brothers of the Christian Schools is one of the few schools in Hongkong whose pupils compete for Government Scholarships, and Ivanovich is the first Roman Catholic who succeeded in having a scholarship.
Ivanovich has to choose a college in the United Kingdom, where to live, during the four years of his stay in England. He chose Tooting College, it being a Catholic College run by the Brothers of the Christian Schools. As Tooting College is not known to the present Governor of Hongkong, the matter is sent to the Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies, asking for his approval. We shall be extremely obliged if Your Eminence could help in obtaining permission for our young protégé to live at Tooting College.
