I have to inform you that the Women and Girls Protection Ordinance came into force on the 6th of April last.
I shall be glad to be informed how soon it is contemplated that the Committee which is enquiring into the working of the Po Leung Kuk will have finished its labours, and I request you to communicate to me as soon as possible after the Committee has reported the results.
