and in reply to transmit for approval the enclosed copy of a joint report by
the Director of Public Works and the Local Auditor, on
the subject of the store accounts of the Colony. I concur with the
proposals contained in the report. In
regard to stores sold occasionally to the public there will be cross entries, but as
far as I can see that is unavoidable:
the 20th March 1893.
the amount will never be large in any year, it will be kept as small as
possible by sanctioning sales only in cases of pressing necessity.
