If Your Lordship should approve my recommendation of Mr. May, I would propose the salary of the Captain Superintendent be reduced from $6,000 to $5,400. The reduction of $600 added to the saving of the salary allowances of a passed Cadet who will be absorbed by promotion in succession will effect a total saving on Establishments of $3,000 a year.
