PARTICULARS of the Office now vacant at the Government Civil Hospital,
(in the Colony of Hongkong.
Parties of office, and qualifications required for their performance.

To attend to the manufacture of Pharmaceutical preparations and the general dispensing work of the Hospital and to take charge and assist the Analyst.
Must hold a registrable diploma and be a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain and produce testimonials as to ability in the conduct of Pharmaceutical and Analytical work.
One thousand four hundred and forty Dollars ($1440) a year rising after 3 years' service to $1560.
Other circumstances affecting the value of the office.
Must be a single man under 25 years of age. Will be provided with furnished bachelor quarters, light, and fuel at the Government Civil Hospital.
Will be required to enter into an agreement to serve 3 years. Will be provided with a 2nd class passage out to the Colony by the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co. or Messageries Maritimes and be entitled to 1st class passage back to England by the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co., or 2nd class by Messageries Maritimes.
If the Government find it necessary and the Assistant is desirous of continuing in the service, he will be permitted to continue subject to the regulations applicable to the Hongkong Government services.

If the Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society in London is communicated with, a suitable candidate will doubtless be obtained.
