It is, in fact, owing to the circumscribed area about the only available, there being binding within 120 yards of it. It is anticipated that the passages on the west side, in which the junks and other vessels are con...dy, will allow the worst side to haul on the doland, thus leaving space for the shipping to pass through the harbour.
May I draw your attention, for the information of Mr. E. the Governor, that this mode of carrying and storing oil in bulk is being extensively adopted now all over the world, with Depôts similar to the one proposed here.
